Good listen! Can a woman safely take a compounded bioidentical progesterone PILL? Is there a big difference between it vs cream?
There is a difference as if you are taking progestin in the pill form it is very toxic and can lead to terrible side effects. If it is bioidentical progesterone in the pill form don’t take more then 100 mg (can cause inflammation and contribute to breast cancer)and it is still beneficial to take it with cream as some women don’t get the endometrial growth control from oral progesterone. As well oral converts to allopregnanolone a metabolite so you lose some of the benefits. But oral is great for sleep.
