This stuff absolutely gets the job done especially when you are in the beginning of perimenopause. I like that you don’t have to have a prescription for this. It also has a great texture and smell!
It works like my prescription gel. The amount of cream to use to get the dose is too much.
Love this product! I have been using the Estro 2 cream for almost 2 years on my face and more recently on my inner arms, to supplement my .05 estrodial patches which are just not enough anymore since I am towards the end of perimenopause, and love that so much I wanted to try the Velvet V and this is another hit for me! I only use 2 pumps because this one is more of an oily cream which makes it super smooth but 3 pumps was little too much at one time and I felt a little greasy lol I use it 2-3 times a week and I can honestly say its making a difference for me! I love that I can use it locally instead of taking more pills. There isn't really any smell, the consistency is nice and Karen's products are so affordable I wont purchase anywhere else!
I absolutely LOVE this cream! I use it every day on my face and I have also been using a couple days a week on my inner arms because I'm towards the end of peri and my .050 patches are not enough anymore (started getting symptoms again) and its much easier to regulate then just going up to the next strength patch. The texture is great, it absorbs very quickly, there is no smell AND its affordable which I really appreciate for such a great product!
I have been using this product for several months. I haven't seen any results. I wish the delivery system was more creamed based. This product is more like a lotion.
This stuff is like a miracle. I rubbed four drops on my chest and I even put 3 to 4 drops under my tongue and I sleep like a baby no more waking up in the middle of the night and staying up for two hours. It’s amazing stuff.

I'm 58 and have been noticing all of the changes one goes through in menopause for a long time. I've noticed thinner tissue in the vaginal area, and even tiny tears in my tissue, just from gentle wiping even. I know the bottle says to use 3 pumps per application, but really, 1 pump is so generous and spreads so nicely over the tissue that I have just started with 1 pump at night with a little panty liner in my underwear. Goes on nicely, smells pretty. But have been using for 6 weeks (?), 4-7 pumps daily and just had my estradiol level drawn and it was 10 - so the cream isn’t raising my level at all. I also noticed that initially it minimized hot flashes and even that stopped. Not sure if the cream lost efficacy somehow…? Disappointing. Love the podcast and have learned so much.

A little insight that might help:
4 pumps of the cream works out to about 0.25 mg of estradiol, which is a very gentle dose. For women with estradiol levels as low as yours (around 10), that amount often isn’t enough to create a measurable rise on labs or hold symptoms long-term. That’s not a sign that the product “lost efficacy” — the formula stays stable for at least two years — it’s simply that your body likely needs a higher concentration.
It’s also common in early use for symptoms to improve at first and then return. When you introduce estradiol, your body may temporarily “top up” naturally, but once it senses incoming estrogen, it can down-regulate the little production it had left. This is totally normal physiology — it just means you may need a stronger dose to get the full benefits.
For women with lower baseline levels, our Estrogen Vitality oil or Estro 2 Rejuvenation Cream tend to work much better because they’re more concentrated.
