The Women's Midlife Weight Loss Program

How Women 40+ Are Losing 1-2 Pounds Per Week Without High Doses, Muscle Loss, or the Crash

If You've Ever Felt Like Your Own Body Is Working Against You, You're Not Crazy

If you feel like your body changed overnight…

You're not imagining it.

One year you're maintaining your weight without thinking about it.

The next, you're gaining fat around your midsection — no matter what you do.

Your energy is low. Your sleep is off. Your clothes don't fit the same way.

And you've tried everything:

  • Eating cleaner
  • Working out harder
  • Cutting calories
  • Intermittent fasting

The scale either doesn't move.

Or it goes up.

Everything You Were Told About Weight Loss Was Designed for a 30-Year-Old's Metabolism

At 40-plus, those rules don't just stop working.

They can actively make things worse.

After 40, your hormones shift — and your metabolism follows.

  • Estrogen declines → your body becomes more prone to fat storage
  • Progesterone drops → sleep and recovery suffer
  • Cortisol rises → your body holds onto weight, especially around the belly

Your body isn't broken.

It's responding exactly the way it's designed to.

And this is where most women get stuck.

They keep pushing harder.

More restriction. More cardio. More discipline.

But in midlife?

The harder you push, the more your body pushes back.

This isn't a willpower problem.

It's a signaling problem.

Which is exactly why traditional weight loss methods stop working in perimenopause and menopause.

Why Ozempic Is Working for Some Women and Backfiring for Most

You've probably heard about Ozempic, Wegovy, and Mounjaro.

Maybe you've seen women lose weight quickly — only to feel terrible, lose muscle, or gain it all back later.

Here's what most people don't understand:

These medications are powerful.

But they're being used the wrong way.

  • Doses are too high
  • Muscle isn't supported
  • Hormones are ignored
  • There's no long-term strategy

So yes — weight loss happens.

But often at the cost of your metabolism, your strength, and your long-term results.

And most programs built around these medications were designed for a general population — not for women whose hormones are changing. Not for women who need to protect their muscle. Not for women who've already been through the cycle of losing and gaining it all back.

That's who this program was built for.

Karen Martel - CEO & Founder of Midlife Solutions - representing private coaching for Women in Perimenopause + Menopause

Why I Built This Program and What I Kept Seeing Go Wrong

I’m Karen Martel — certified hormone specialist, and menopause expert.

I’ve spent years helping women in midlife understand why their bodies change, and what to actually do about it.

When GLP-1 medications started gaining attention, I paid close attention.
Because I was watching something frustrating happen.

Women were being prescribed these medications with no strategy, no lifestyle support, and no understanding of what was happening to their hormones underneath.

They were losing weight, and losing muscle with it.
Getting results, and then gaining it all back months later.

And I knew there had to be a better way.

Because I’ve used GLP-1s myself.

After a lifetime of struggling to keep my weight stable, especially after menopause, this was a game changer.

When used properly, they are incredibly powerful.

But that’s the problem… most women aren’t being shown how to use them properly.

So I built the program I wished existed.

One that treats GLP-1s as one part of a strategy, not the whole strategy.

The One Shift That Changes Everything: Why Less Is More When It Comes to Dosing

Most programs give you the highest dose your body will tolerate.

We recommend you the smallest dose that still works.

That difference matters more than most women realize.

When you're not over-spiking your GLP-1 levels, you keep your muscle. You keep your metabolism. You keep your energy.

And when you eventually taper down — you have a metabolism that's working with you, instead of a body that's fighting you harder than when you started.

This is the microdosing approach.

And it's the reason why the women in this program lose fat without the crash.

That's not just smart weight loss. That's weight loss you can actually keep.

What the First Few Weeks Feel Like When Your Body Is Finally Getting the Right Signals

Imagine waking up and not immediately calculating what you can or can't eat that day.

Sitting down to a meal and stopping naturally — not because you're white-knuckling it, but because your body actually signals fullness again.

Imagine the constant food noise just… quieting down.

Stepping on the scale and seeing steady progress — without the fatigue, the muscle loss, or the rebound.

That's what happens when your metabolism is supported properly.

Not pushed. Not punished.

Supported.

What Actually Changes When You're Inside This Program

Fat loss that's sustainable — not a crash.

A consistent 1–2 pounds per week with a strategy that protects your metabolism while you lose. No yo-yo. No rebound.

Two women in a gym setting flexing their arms to depict strength and confidence

Your muscle — protected.

Most GLP-1 programs don't address muscle loss at all. This one does. Because in midlife, muscle is your metabolism. Losing it is the fastest way to regain everything you lost.

Normal hunger signals again.

The constant food noise that drives overeating isn't a character flaw. GLP-1s calm the brain's hunger signals. The right dose does it appropriately, without making food feel like an afterthought.

Your Roadmap from Stuck to Unstoppable 6 Steps

Lose your first pound as early as NEXT week!

Step 1

Choose Your GLP-1

Choose between Retatrutide, Semaglutide or Tirzepatide. All 3 are highly effective. Available in all 50 US states. Clinical studies show that Tirzepatide and Retatrutide typically produce greater weight loss than Semaglutide. Many women also report much fewer side effects with Tirzepatide and Retatrutide.

Step 2

Enrol in the Program

The program fee is $149 for a 3-month membership. This covers physician prescribing, administrative processing, and full program oversight. Your membership will be automatically renewed every 3 months unless cancelled.

Step 3

Get Instant Access

The moment you join, you unlock the private online program and community. Start learning the strategies, connect with women just like you, and begin building your midlife weight-loss toolbox — before your medication even arrives.

Step 4

Medical Approval

Complete a secure medical intake form. A licensed prescriber reviews your information and, if approved, sends your prescription directly to our compounding pharmacy.

Step 5

Discreet Delivery to Your Door

Your GLP-1 prescription ships straight to you — fast, private, and hassle-free. Typical delivery: 2 days after approval.

Step 6

Ongoing Support Every Step of the Way

Every 3 months, your prescription renews via a refill form or video visit (state-dependent). All required physician oversight is included in your subscription.

The Science Behind Why These Work and Why Most People Are Using Them Wrong

You've probably heard the buzz about Retratrutide, Semaglutide (Ozempic / Wegovy) and Tirzepatide (Mounjaro / Zepbound).

These aren't fads. They're breakthrough treatments changing the game for women battling stubborn midlife weight.

Here's what they actually do:

  • Turn down food noise. GLP-1s calm the brain's hunger signals so you're not constantly fighting cravings.
  • Keep you fuller, longer. They slow stomach emptying so you feel satisfied with less food.
  • Balance blood sugar. No more spikes and crashes that trigger cravings and fat storage.
  • Boost metabolic health. They improve cholesterol, liver function, and long-term health markers.

Translation: they make weight loss possible again when hormones have stacked the odds against you.

But only when used correctly.

High doses without lifestyle support don't just underperform — they can strip your muscle and slow your metabolism. That's exactly what this program fixes.

This Program Is Not for Everyone Please Read Before You Enroll

GLP-1 medications are not appropriate for everyone. People who have a history of anything listed below will not be prescribed medication:

  • Gastroparesis or severe GI disorders
  • A history of pancreatitis
  • Medullary thyroid cancer or MEN 2A/2B
  • Pregnancy or active attempts to conceive
  • If your BMI is under 24

Your prescriber will review your full intake before approving any prescription.

Here's Everything You Get and What It's Actually Worth

1.Physician Prescription & Clinical Oversight — $200–$400 value

A U.S. board-certified prescriber reviews your intake, approves your prescription, and oversees your protocol every 3 months.

2. The Midlife Metabolism Method — $97 value

Karen's complete lifestyle framework for women using GLP-1s. How to eat to protect muscle. How to adjust dosing as you progress. How to maintain results long-term. Built specifically for perimenopause and menopause — not a generic diet plan.

3. Weight Loss Coach Support — $450 value

4. Private Community Access — $150 value

6. Access to affordable Glp1s: value $200+ in savings monthly

We partner with a trusted compounding pharmacy to provide high-quality peptides at a fraction of typical costs.
Most women pay between $100–$200/month, depending on their dose.

Less Than $13 a Week for Everything You Need to Make This Work

$149/3 months

Physician oversight, a proven protocol, coaching support, and community — all of it — for less than what most women spend on supplements that don't move the needle.

(Medication billed separately by the compounding pharmacy. )

Why $149 Is Not the Real Question and What the Real Question Actually Is

Most women I talk to have already spent hundreds — sometimes thousands — on programs that don't account for their hormones.

Programs built for a 30-year-old metabolism. Programs that give you a meal plan and wish you luck. Programs with zero medical oversight and zero understanding of what's happening inside your body after 40.

$149 to finally have the right strategy — with physician oversight, a tested protocol, and professional support — isn't a cost.

It's the thing that makes every other effort you've already made finally pay off.

Why You Should Enroll Today, Not Next Month

We operate with a limited number of physician consultation slots each month to ensure every member receives proper medical oversight — not a rushed intake form.

When those slots fill, new enrollments move to the waitlist.

If you're reading this and enrollment is open, that's your window.

Why You Literally Cannot Lose: Our Commitment to You

Because you receive physician oversight and a personalized prescription from the moment you enroll, we're unable to offer medication refunds. That's a legal requirement of compounded prescriptions — not a policy we chose.

But here's what we can promise:

If anything is wrong with your experience, our support team will make it right.

After your first 3-month cycle, you can cancel anytime — no long-term contracts, no pressure.

We're confident in this program because we've watched it work. That's the only guarantee that matters.

Peptide pricing varies based on the peptide prescribed, your dose, and the length of your protocol. Average monthly cost ranges from $60 to $300 per month.

Your prescribing doctor will determine which peptide and dose are appropriate for you based on your health history, goals, and treatment plan.

A few important notes:

  • Pricing varies depending on the peptide and dose prescribed

Is this program available outside of the USA?

No, at this time it is only available to people within the USA. If you are in Canada you can join our DIY peptide program here.

Who qualifies for GLP-1 medications?

In general, GLP-1 medications are prescribed for adults with a BMI of 25 or higher, or a BMI of 25 or higher with at least one weight-related health condition, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, type 2 diabetes, obstructive sleep apnea, or cardiovascular disease. *All submitted intake forms are reviewed by a licensed provider. If you complete registration and are clinically denied because you do not meet the eligibility criteria listed on this page, a $50 non-refundable clinical review fee will apply. This fee covers the provider’s time to review your intake and make a clinical determination.

If you are unsure whether you qualify, please contact us before registering.

Is Midlife Solutions providers U.S. board-certified?

Yes. Every MS provider is a U.S. board-certified, independent medical practitioner. We only partner with experienced experts so you can feel confident you’re getting safe, professional care — right from home.

How much weight can I lose with GLP-1s?

Most women lose an average of 1–3 pounds per week with GLP-1 medications. Results vary based on starting weight, diet, activity level, and overall health.

How long do I have to stay on these peptides?

This is individual. Some women come off and maintain their results. Most stay on a low maintenance dose after reaching their goal — typically one injection every 2–6 weeks. We prepare you for this from the start.

Does Midlife Solutions accept insurance?

MS does not accept public or private health insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid, or Tricare.

Is there a difference between Retatrutide, Semaglutide and Tirzepatide?

Yes. Semaglutide, Tirzepatide, and Retatrutide all support weight loss, but they work on different receptors in the body. Semaglutide targets GLP-1, Tirzepatide targets GLP-1 and GIP, and Retatrutide targets GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon. These differences can affect appetite, blood sugar, metabolism, and weight loss results.

Can I get help with hormones in this group?

No. This program is strictly focused on peptides and does not include hormone coaching or HRT support.

We do offer separate HRT programs that include prescribed hormone therapy through our partner physicians. If you’re looking for hormone support, we recommend enrolling in our HRT program here.

Please note:

  • The Peptide Program and HRT Program are separate and cannot be combined into one membership
  • If you want support for both peptides and HRT, you must be an active member of both programs

This structure allows each program to stay focused, compliant, and effective for everyone involved.

How soon will I receive my medication?

If a prescription is provided, the usual shipping duration is 24 hours.

What if I need to pause or cancel my membership?

Enrollment includes a 3-month minimum commitment per prescription cycle. After your initial 3 months, your membership is quarterly and can be canceled anytime by contacting support before your next renewal date.

Is this legitimate medication?

Yes. All Midlife Solutions medications are prepared in licensed 503A compounding pharmacies — FDA-designated, USP-compliant, regulated by state pharmacy boards.

How does this differ from brand-name medications?

Brand-name GLP-1 medications like Wegovy® and Ozempic® (Novo Nordisk™) and Mounjaro® and Zepbound® (Eli Lilly™) are available only through those companies. MS has no affiliation with, or endorsement from, these brands, and we do not dispense them.

Instead, we provide compounded medications, prepared in licensed sterile compounding pharmacies or FDA-registered outsourcing facilities. These pharmacies are highly regulated and follow strict quality standards, but the medications they produce are not FDA-approved.

Compounded prescriptions are tailored to each individual, based on a licensed provider’s clinical judgment during your telehealth consultation. This allows for flexibility in strength, dosage, and administration that may differ from brand-name products.

What if I also want hormone replacement therapy (HRT)?

HRT is not included in this program. We offer a separate HRT program with its own physician oversight. You can be an active member of both programs simultaneously.

Do you offer a money-back guarantee?

No, we do not offer refunds. However, you can cancel your subscription at any time, and there are no long-term contracts.

Will I gain the weight back if I stop taking it?

This is very individual. If a person goes back to poor eating habits research shows that the weight will come back on.  Most people find that they need to stay on a maintenance dose to keep the weight off. We encourage all of our participants to work on their eating habits and create healthy lifestyle changes while on peptides. This helps to maintain their weight loss.

Do GLP-1s cause nausea, vomiting, or constipation?

Yes. Nausea, vomiting, constipation, and other digestive symptoms are among the most common side effects of GLP-1 medications. These symptoms are often more noticeable when starting treatment or increasing your dose, but they usually improve over time as your body adjusts. Side effects tend to be more pronounced from semaglutide rather then Reta or Tirz. Your prescribing doctor can help manage side effects by starting with a low dose and increasing slowly.
