Lesson #3 My top 10 lessons learned in 2020!Social media has been linked to higher levels of loneliness, envy, anxiety, depression, narcissism and decreased social skills. I realized this year that often times after scrolling through Facebook and Instagram that I felt less then. Without meaning to I was comparing myself to women that I was seeing online. Our expectations of what we should look like is being controlled by what we see online which unfortunately isn't realistic.
There is a small population, very small, of women that have so called "perfect bodies." The majority of the population has stretch marks, cellulite, muffin tops, tummy flaps, skin imperfections, fine lines, wrinkles etc. So this year I implemented some great tools to help keep a body positive attitude.
