This is a huge improvement from a year ago when I had some degree of head fog, if not full blown migraine every day (but particularly around my period). Every month without fail I would try something new; a tweak in my diet, a new supplement, stress reducing technique, anything that might bring me one more day of being migraine free in a month (see below for list of best migraine relievers).
You see we all want quick fix everything - whether it be the pill that’s going to take the pain away or the diet that will make us thin forever but we don’t want to put the work in to get the results we so badly want. Sometimes we need the carpet pulled out from underneath us to make us say “Holy fuck I can not go on like this!" and decide to do whatever it takes to get better.
When we are faced with extreme pain or fear we will persevere to heal ourselves, but sometimes we have to reach a breaking point before we take action. If you are suffering from an illness or you’re overweight let me tell you something; very rarely does this ever magically disappear or get cured by a pill. Look into the future and see where you are going, how are you going to feel in 5 years, 10 years if you keep going this way? Then dig deep find your strength. Change is up to you.
Getting to the root of the problem is the answer and this takes work; chances are you may have to permanently change the way eat, you may have to seek out professional help, you may have to change your lifestyle, and you will likely have to spend some money. But what I do know after working with 1000’s of women? It’s the ones that say “Hey I refuse to feel this way any longer and I will do whatever it takes to get better” that succeed. If you talked to any of them they will be the first to tell you that the road wasn’t easy, it took time and trial error but they didn’t quit and they don’t ever plan to.
I have spent 7 years researching migraines and I still have to shut my life down for week out of every month. I have probably spent 1000’s of dollars on alternative care, supplements and anything else that gave me a glimmer of hope to eradicate my awful problem. I may not have solved the problem completely but when I am in the depths of pain I try to remind myself, it’s far better than having a daily migraine! I will continue to dig and try and do all I can to feel my best and won’t quit because I know that I have one life and I want to feel my best.
My migraine relief plan
With all the time that I have spent researching migraines I feel it’s my duty to share everything that has worked for me in hopes I may be able to help others that suffer from them. Migraines can be triggered by many different things in people but mine have been from a genetic predisposition that has made me very susceptible to them. This means my triggers are wide spread - everything from an over reactive nervous system, certain supplements, food triggers, hormonal triggers, barometric pressure, inflammation, stress and who knows what else. Here is a list of what’s helped me the most;- Curcumin Evail by Designs for Health This beauty of a supplement hands down has helped me more then any other migraine intervention. I believe it’s powerful antioxidant and anti inflammatory properties are what help the most. Read more about curcumins effects on migraines.
